Through AI technology, ROSS and Clio are unlocking new and critical efficiencies in a time when law firm success hinges on productivity.

San Francisco, CA: Last month, Clio announced it had raised 250M USD, the largest investment in legal technology history, to deepen and expand their platform’s offerings. Today, Clio and ROSS Intelligence are announcing an integration between their innovative products. All Clio customers will be able to use ROSS's industry-leading Document Analyzer from within Clio. With one click, Clio users can analyze citations in existing briefs using ROSS’s entire database of all U.S. federal and state cases to ensure no details are missed. Clio customers will also get a 25% discount if they sign up for ROSS’s full platform.

  • “With ROSS integrated, Clio customers can ensure their briefs are bulletproof  without sacrificing their valuable time.” - Jimoh Ovbiagele, CTO/Co-founder of ROSS Intelligence

In 2008, Jack Newton and Rian Gauvreau founded Clio to "transform the law, for good." Seven years later, Andrew Arruda, Jimoh Ovbiagele, and Pargles Dall' Oglio founded ROSS Intelligence ("ROSS") to "create technologies to help everyone obtain the best legal outcomes." Given their aligned missions, it was no surprise when Newton joined ROSS's board of directors earlier this year. This integration is the first step in their partnership.

  • “Making the management and growth of your law firm easier means doing more with less. ROSS is a powerful lever for attorneys doing legal research, which is why we are working together.” - Jack Newton, CEO/Co-founder of Clio.
  • “Clio is the workflow hub for hundreds of thousands of attorneys. We’re excited to help expand Clio’s offerings so that attorneys can accomplish even more from just one place.” - Andrew Arruda, CEO/Co-founder of ROSS Intelligence

The partnership of these founders and their companies is a statement that Clio recognizes and welcomes ROSS as one of the next great legal technology companies. Together, they hope to make the law more accessible by creating better legal technologies.
